Where to buy your scooter?

Looking around it seems everyone is a scooter dealer, but are they really?

When buying a scooter, it's important to buy from a reputable company. One that is local and has a full-service department. Why?
  • What if something goes wrong with your scooter? Where do you take it? Just because the place you buy from says your scooter comes with a warranty doesn't mean they can service your scooter.
  • Are they experienced in scooter or motorcycle repair? When scooters are purchased by "dealers" they typically have to be put together. It's important to have an experienced technician put together and fully review your scooter before you drive away.
With any major purchase it is best to trust your instincts. Ask yourself, "Does this feel right?" Scooters, like cars, can be a hazard if not taken care of or driven properly. Know you are safe right out the door by buying from a scooter dealer. If you want to more about buying a scooter give us a call or stop by the shop.

Prepare Your Scooter for Winter

Plan on parking your scooter this winter? Here are some helpful tips to assure your scooter will be in good condition when spring comes around.
  • Wash it thoroughly (especially in locations where they salt the roads).
  • Consider adding a carburetor stabilizer to the fuel system. (Read the the bottle for complete instructions).
  • Fill your gas tank completely to avoid rusting inside your tank.
  • Remove your battery and store it on something like wood (not metal) to prevent it from getting too cold.
  • Keep your battery on a battery tender (or charge it every couple weeks) to keep it from draining.

Of course if you live in an area where the weather stays good enough to ride year round..HAPPY SCOOTIN'!!
